I've been dealing with migraines for many years, she offered new medication with different ways they are administered. Two of them were self-injections at home, one was n IV infusion in clinic and the fourth was Botox injections. She discussed pro and cons with me and told me to go home to do my own research to my decision. I like that we worked as a team - in the end I decided not to go with any of them even though they could help decrease the number of migraines I was having, but because one of the side effects was too dangerous for me too risks. I have Raynaurd's Disease that affects the circulation system. All of the medications mentioned worsening of the disease with severe complications. I wasn't willing to compromise possible loss of finger, toes or more. I'll keep the current medications I'm on as they are helping me fairly well with my migraines. I appreciate Dr. Colapietro's honesty and help with looking for other better options. She was fabulous with sharing her knowledge.

From the beginning, she listened carefully to my concerns and symptoms, took them seriously, and immediately offered treatment options that significantly improved my quality of life. She has been incredibly thorough in her assessment and has consistently gone above and beyond to advocate for me, particularly when it comes to navigating insurance coverage and making the treatment process as easy and stress-free as possible. What has meant the most to me is the way she combines genuine empathy with professionalism and expertise. I have always felt seen, heard, and believed in her care. Having a physician who truly listens and is willing to advocate for her patients has made an immeasurable difference in my life. Dr. Deegan has helped me more than I can adequately put into words.
