Eli R. Cianciolo, MD, is an interventional pain management specialist at Riverhills Neuroscience in the Norwood and Westside neighborhoods of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is board-certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Cianciolo earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, in Cincinnati, before completing his anesthesiology residency at University Hospital in the same city. He later sought additional medical training, finishing an interventional pain management fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Cianciolo’s expertise includes interventional pain management and spine treatment. He welcomes patients with back pain, arthritis of the spine, sciatica, pinched nerves, spinal stenosis, neck pain, compression fracture, failed back surgery syndrome, and other chronic pain conditions.
He is an active member of various professional organizations, such as the American Society of Anesthesiologists – Ambulatory Surgery Committee, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the Greater Cincinnati Pain Society, and the Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists.

Very personable... Caring and straight to the point... Your never just a number the staff, nurses practitioners, and doctors are always helpful and ready to guide you through any concerns you have.
I arrived 1/2 hour before my scheduled appointment, As required. And I was not called back to the room for the procedure until 1/2 hour later than for when my appointment had been scheduled.

Dr. Cianciiolo is an excellent pain management doctor. He has great bedside manners, is very professional, and truly takes the time to listen to his patients. He does not rush through appointments or procedures, and he talks you through each step so you understand what is happening and feel comfortable throughout the process. His staff is also wonderful, including Ashley. Everyone is caring, helpful, and professional, which makes the entire experience even better. I truly appreciate the care I receive and would highly recommend Dr. Cianciiolo and his team.
