Tracy Darlington, MSN, APRN-CNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Riverhills Neuroscience. She has nearly 30 years of nursing experience and sees patients at the Anderson location in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
Tracy earned her associate’s degree in nursing from The Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati and practiced as a registered nurse in cardiovascular intensive care and recovery at The Christ Hospital after graduating. She continued her career in the electrophysiology lab at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and as the clinical research screening coordinator at The Christ Hospital.
After working as a registered nurse for 15 years, Tracy returned to school. She attended the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing.
Tracy is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association and has been a member of the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) since 2010.

My experience for this visit was a great experience Amanda is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything that my visit entails. She ask me questions to note verbatim what I’m feeling, where I’m hurting, and why I might be hurting (like have you fell, had a change in physical activity. Then she goes over plan on how I can be treated to help ease the pain or temporary stop the pain.
Enjoyed meeting and talking with Amanda. She was knowledgeable and encouraging.
Amanda has the distinct ability to distill the patients' disparate thoughts and emotions surrounding pain management. Personally, I failed a great rapport with her because of her immediate cut-to-the-chase approach to understanding the patient's current cognitive state, capacity for learning, parsing key elements to pain management moving forward, and best of all supporting the patient's natural way of handling the inevitable aging process using a more organic process mechanical/pharmacological remediation. And, of course, I speak for myself. But, I am certain that she has this ability with all of her patients and patience to come.

Called for a follow up appointment. Here I was listened to plan being put into taking care of me the patient. Tracy listened to my health issues and we came up with a plan of action. Every visit we discuss the outcomes of various pain management options as well as where my pain threshold has been in the past. It was suggested I would need a procedure in the near future as the next step to determine a cause of the pain. The appt. Is always hopeful, friendly, understanding. Listens well, takes notes and determines what I will need next. Very thorough.
