Dr Desai is a wonderful dermatologist. I have been seeing him since he started this practice and he has always been an advocate of his patients. The only issue I've had (repeatedly) is his staff. This last appointment, the assisShow moretant must have forgotten I was in the room and never came to check on me after I saw the doctor. I waited for over 10 min before I finally left. This happened before when a different assistant told me that she was going to get the doctor (I had a question) and left me in the room waiting for 25 min. They also waited until the day before the appointment that was scheduled 6 months earlier to let me know that they had to change the appointment time from 8 am to 9:30 am. And made up some odd reason about not seeing patients that early even though that is the time I have always gone in. Other than numerous mishaps with the staff, the doctor is great, which is why I continue to see him. He's honest and insightful and really cares about the well-being of his patients.
For a first time patient I was extremely satisfied. From the friendliness starting at the front desk, to the back when meeting the rest of the staff. At some places you can tell "it's just a job" but there I got the sense that evShow moreeryone truly enjoys being there, and loves what they do. I guess I have this condition where sometimes my vagus nerve cause me to pass out w needles, and unfortunately that happened in his office. It was embarrassing to say the least. Lol However Mr. Chapa and his assistant made sure I was taken care of. I cannot express how much I appreciated that. So, yes definitely a 5* rating!

Everything was great. Receiving person asked me to sign in, but said nothing and so left me "hanging". No follow up comment like "please take a seat , or "we will be with you soon", or "please verify your data on this form", etc So I didn't know I was to just sign my name and take a seat. Not a big deal, but the rest was superlative!
