Dr. Rafizad completed his internship and residency at John H Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County followed by a fellowship in pain management at UCLA Medical Center. As a pain management specialist, Dr. Rafizad is board certified in both pain medicine and anesthesiology. In addition to caring for patients at Pain Care Providers, he also treats patients at the West Los Angeles Veterans Medical Center where he serves as attending staff physician for pain management and anesthesiology.

This was our first meeting, and I appreciated Dr. Rafizad’s thoughtful and thorough approach to diagnosis. He was very knowledgeable, reasonable, and took the time to explain things clearly.
