This was my first visit with Dr. Balaraman. She was professional and friendly. She gave the impression that you could ask questions. She was attentive and informative. She examined me and saw the need to take biopsies. Instead oShow moref having me make another appointment she took biopsies right then saving me another office visit. Excellent Dictor. I would recommend her first.

Brundha Balaraman, MD, is a renowned dermatologist at ALLUSTRA DERMATOLOGY in the Heights, Houston, Texas. She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and specializes in advanced medical and cosmetic dermatology, with expertise in laser therapy, dermal fillers, Botox®, acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin cancer prevention.
Dr. Balaraman received her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She then earned her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She went on to complete an internal medicine internship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, followed by her dermatology residency at Washington University School of Medicine.
To expand her training, Dr. Balaraman completed a fellowship in cosmetic dermatologic surgery where she received advanced training in laser resurfacing, Botox®, dermal filler injections, KYBELLA®, and noninvasive body contouring.
Contributing to her accomplishments, Dr. Balaraman is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Women’s Dermatologic Society, Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and Houston Dermatologic Society.
In her free time, Dr. Balaraman enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and friends. She also enjoys volunteering to provide community skin cancer screenings with the Skin Cancer Foundation and Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

My experience was very pleasant….everyone there were so nice and friendly. Dr. Brundha was very knowledable in her field of work.
Excellent doctor. Cares about the patients. This is the only doctor I would ever have taking care of my dermatology concerns. I would rate 10 stars but they only allow for 5 stars.
Dr. Balaraman, is amazing. She really cares for her patients and always takes the time to listen to you and focuses on concerns you may have. Such a thoughtful and caring person.

Entire office is friendly and professional. Everyone does their job with a smile. I had a small biopsy done on my arm and didn’t feel a thing from the first needle stick onward. They told me when to expect my results and when to come in for my stitch removal. Everything should be this easy to do. When people enjoy their jobs, it shows in their work.
