Dr. Cohen is fantastic! She is very thorough in explaining your procedure & or diagnosis. Dr. Dharma is my primary care Doctor and has been for 20+ years she is awesome! I just love her. She referred me to Dr. Cohen & Dr. Hadsell Show morefor pain management. It was a blessing for me because I was in bad shape with major back pain & nerve damage.I see Dr. Cohen for trigger shot injections & Dr. Hadsell for physical therapy between the two of them I get a great deal of relief. I appreciate them so much for that. I just love em’ I value the complete staff of SWFM every single person in that clinic are professional & friendly. It is a blessing to myself & my family to be able to get great care in one clinic. I recommend this clinic to everyone!
I have been a patient of Dr. Dharma's for close to, if not, 20+ years. She was my mom's doctor before she passed and currently treats my dad & I. I LOVE how she takes the time to discuss everything with me and her candidness, to pShow moreut it mildly... lol, about my health. It may not always be what I want to hear, but it's always the truth and I know without any doubt that she only wants the best for her patients. After completing her residency in 1999 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Dallas, Dr. Dharma single handedly grew her small medical practice into Southwest Family Medicine Associates (SFMA). As the medical director, she brings her passion for innovative and cutting edge technology to the practice, and worked to secure recognition of SFMA as a “medical home” from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)-an elite accreditation which only 1,500 clinics in the nation hold. Dr. Dharma has a “no stone left unturned” philosophy to medicine, which has earned her a strong following of patients. She also believes that prevention is the key to good health, which lead her to establish our on-site wellness center in 2014. Her dedication to medicine is represented by the multiple board positions she holds, including president of her local chapter to being on the board of the national Texas of Physicians- (TAFP). As an associate clinical faculty member at UT Southwestern, she has taught medical student for over 15 years. In her spare time, she enjoys cross-fit, Capoeira martial arts, and spending time with ther family.

Excellent service
The office staff is always considerate and efficient. I feel very cared for and never rushed through. Dr. Dharma is just the best. She has been my Dr. since 2011 and so thorough. Aggressive with treatment or suggestions when necessary and very calming when I am assuming problems I don't have. Keeps me in the loop of what is happening with my health at all times. A very special woman!! I am 83 and wouldn't want to trust my health with anyone else. I would be devastated if I had to change from Southwest Family Practice.
