Dan’s interest in healthcare stems from a life of being on both the giving and receiving ends of medicine. He spent almost 2 years in Iraq with a focus in healthcare and has children who require routine medical, surgical, and therapeutic care. Dan is also fascinated by how things work, particularly the human body and mind. This curiosity and motivation led Dan into the military, to a civilian career of more than a decade as an x-ray tech, and eventually back to school to become a Physician Assistant. Dan was educated at the University of Washington and retired from the Army after over 21 years of service. His greatest passions are faith, family, medicine, fitness, and the outdoors. He was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and spent almost all his childhood years in Vancouver, WA. His goal as a healthcare provider is to promote both healing and sustained good health.
