I had the stem cell therapy done on both of my knees yesterday My right knee is at stage 4 and the left at a stage 2. While I was initially very nervous the people here quickly put me at ease. The nurse, Amanda, was upbeat, comShow moreforting, and willing to answer questions prior to Dr. Oliver's arrival. Dr. Oliver was fantastic! She explained what she was doing every step of the way. I had a basic idea of the procedure from the literature on the website and from the calls from the nurses prior to my appointment (who were also very helpful) her explanation was much appreciated. She is so very kind and caring. I became aware of her skills from hearing about the large number of people who had gone to her from the county where I grew up, and knew that if they were driving a considerable distance (about 6 hours) to see her that she must have a lot of success. Everyone here is wonderful. I had expected pain from what I had read and was told, but the procedure really wasn't that bad. We drove 11 hours home that same day and I was only a bit stiff and sore in the knees. Today is the second day and I'm getting around better than I have in a long time. If the rest of the recovery goes as well as it has so far, I'll will be thrilled! I highly recommend Dr. Oliver and her team!
I find Dr. Crane to be a doctor that takes his time with you, sits down and actually talks one on one with you before he starts any treatments. He listens and goes over options and explains what they might be. I also believe Dr.Show more Crane to be one step ahead of all new procedures that can be used to help whatever your issue is. If there are issues after a procedure, they are quick to respond and take care of the problem for you. Samantha is right there during procedures and offers support and makes sure all is well when you leave the office. Also does follow up calls later on. I have always had the utmost trust in this office!!
David Crane, MD is the founder of Bluetail Medical Group, where he practices sports medicine and regenerative orthopedics. He sees patients in Chesterfield, Green Bay, Columbia, Mankato, and Indianapolis treating the full range of orthopedic conditions. Dr. Crane also specializes in musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostic imaging and needle-guided therapies.
A Missouri native, Dr. Crane earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed his residency in emergency medicine at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. He then entered a dual fellowship program in emergency medicine and primary care sports medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
After completing his advanced fellowship training, Dr. Crane returned to Missouri, where he was a staff physician at Barnes Jewish Hospital and St. John’s Mercy Medical Center. In 2005, he founded Crane Clinic Sports Medicine, where he began focusing on regenerative therapies in orthopedics. Three years later, he opened Bluetail Medical Group.
Dr. Crane is board certified in sports medicine and emergency medicine. He teaches regenerative therapeutics throughout the country and to doctors from all over the world.
When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Crane enjoys competing in orienteering and adventure racing. He’s married and has two daughters and one son.

I have had several extremely beneficial and wonderful experiences at Bluetail with now-retired Dr. Oliver. This was my first consult with Dr. Crane. It was, again, an excellent experience, which seems to be par for this medical group. Lol. Well that is hard to do. My experience was different. But staff is great and I think it will work.
The staff is friendly and respective of my disability. I received several medical treatments and medical X-rays with different staff working with me and were all in tune of my disabilities and what needed to be accomplished in a mere two and a half hours. This has taken other hospitals or emergency rooms days to accomplish similar treatments with the excuse to keep me overnight! I have been a patient for over 10 years and I’m out of the wheel chair most of the time and my arms are moving more than 70% of capabilities due to the only option that I had for my nerve damage! God bless Bluetail medical and their very fun staff!
