Providing individualized and person-centered care is the foundation of what I do as a clinician. I have learned that everyone learns, processes and experiences life, and therapy, in their own way. In my experience, utilizing evidenced-based interventions is key to the therapy process. The approaches I utilize include Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, as well as others. I have learned that providing psychoeducation about the different therapy processes helps individuals better understand the “why” behind the interventions we are using.My experience has shown me that taking a holistic approach is vital to truly supporting you as a whole person. I will strive to learn who you are as an individual and the context of your life, as these pieces cannot exist without the other. We all have a unique story and I am honored that you are allowing me to be a part of yours.

Since I started therapy with Erin I felt that my life finally began to fall into place. A big part of it is because of the support and help I received from Erin in many aspects of my life. We worked on communication which is something that I really wanted to work on and I feel that I am stronger in it. Thank you Erin and Makin Wellness!

I’ve been hesitant to try therapy for years, but now that I’m older and ready to really tackle my past trauma I decided to try it.. I found Makin Wellness online and was matched with Erin. My first visit I was so nervous and thought “this is dumb, why am I doing this” well let me just say I am so glad I did! Erin is so kind and easy to talk to!
