About Gabrielle Blawas

My name is Gabrielle Blawas and I've been a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for 25 years. My therapy approach is client-centered care that utilizes solution-based and strength-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Therapy. My therapeutic process begins with finding the root cause of the issues and identifying the unhelpful beliefs and behaviors attached to those issues. We will work together in finding new supportive, healthful, and practical behaviors and thought patterns to help you achieve a happier and more peaceful life. I believe healing can be accelerated by uncovering the origin of our pain. This powerful knowledge allows us to understand our thoughts and behaviors, makes it possible to unlearn old patterns and form new constructive ones, and allows us to view ourselves self-compassionately.
