About Helard Ballon-Hennings, MD, FACOG
Helard Ballon-Hennings, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist at Desert Hills Care Center, a WHASN Care Center, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Ballon-Hennings pledges to put his patients first in all aspects of health care. He believes in listening to patients’ concerns and understanding their needs before guiding them through treatments.
Dr. Ballon-Hennings has been practicing since 2000. He spent four years providing medical care in Peru before moving to Michigan. While there, he completed additional training at Wayne State University in Detroit and ran an established practice. In 2016, he moved with his family to Las Vegas, where he joined WHASN, and later opened Desert Hills Care Center in 2019.
Dr. Ballon-Hennings is fluent in Spanish. His motivation as a doctor stems from his passion for helping patients achieve their health goals. As an OB/GYN, he finds joy in watching families grow but is always prepared to assist patients through their most desperate times.
In his free time, Dr. Ballon-Hennings enjoys playing music and traveling within the United States and abroad. Since moving to Las Vegas, he has enjoyed hiking through the nearby national parks.
