About Helena Rouhe, LMFT

My path of education includes a Bachelor's in Psychobiology, a Master's in Cognitive Psychology and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. This means I have spent my intellectual pursuits understanding how our perceptions are reality. In order to change our reality we need to change how we perceive the world...both inside and out. My expertise include but are not limited to the following: gender specific treatment of chemical dependency and eating disorders, equine assisted therapy, the use of experiential therapy in both individual and group sessions, treating non-chemical addictions, co-occurring disorders and a strong background in acute mental health disorders. I have a passion for helping people discover and embody their best self. This takes hard work on the part of the individual willing to invest in the change process. I am honored to be a part of the experience. Change is not easy or straight forward AND it is possible!
