I have 3 to 4 different challenges with my back. Dr. Okpareke is the first doctor who is actually trying to help me. Two others said there's nothing they can do, gave me exercises (which makes the spinal stenosis worse) and sentShow more me on my way. Dr. Okpareke actually listens and is very honest with what we can try and what I can expect from each step. I trust him explicitly with trying to give me pain relief and understanding exactly what is wrong and how to move forward. I am not a candidate for surgery due to heart & kidneys, so Dr. Okpareke is trying hard to give me back as much freedom in my life as he can! I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Ikenna Okpareke practices at the Douglasville and Cartersville locations and is board-certified in anesthesiology and interventional pain management. After earning his Doctorate in Medicine at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, Dr. Okpareke then completed an anesthesiology residency at the University of Chicago followed by a fellowship in chronic interventional pain management at the prestigious Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Okpareke then spent eight years practicing as an interventional pain specialist in Chicago before returning to Atlanta in 2022 to join Alliance Spine & Pain where he now serves on its Medical Executive Committee.

The staff is very friendly and efficient. I love the new front desk staff as well. My only complaint is on the telephone. The call center staff, some of them are impolite and not as friendly as the front desk staff. Also, it's mission impossible to reach the wonderful nurse staff or friendly front desk staff. No direct extension and you have to deal with the not so great call center staff that paraphrase the issue of concern....

A great group of professional staff that greets you with a knife alone and may I help you and Dr o is a very good caring doctor that listens to you and comes up with different things that might help you along the way he don't just pick it for you he disgusting with you so therefore he listens to what you have to say what is really going on and the staff is I have said it's great
