Dr. Ikenna Okpareke practices at the Douglasville and Cartersville locations and is board-certified in anesthesiology and interventional pain management. After earning his Doctorate in Medicine at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, Dr. Okpareke then completed an anesthesiology residency at the University of Chicago followed by a fellowship in chronic interventional pain management at the prestigious Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Okpareke then spent eight years practicing as an interventional pain specialist in Chicago before returning to Atlanta in 2022 to join Alliance Spine & Pain where he now serves on its Medical Executive Committee.

The doctor listened attentively for my long pain history He explained to me my cause of pain and a plan to assist me I was very pleased with my first visit and awaiting the next encounter The staff was very pleasant
Explains procedures in lay-man terms and conditions. Shows you your MRI and explains what is happening and why he feels a certain procedure will help you to be more active after the procedure is done. Great bedside manner and calms your mind so you aren’t feeling nervous.
