Dr. Jacob Becker, MD

Jacob C. Becker, MD, is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in hip and knee reconstruction at Texas Orthopaedic Associates. He sees patients at the Plano, Greenville Avenue, and Walnut Hill Lane locations in the Dallas metroplex area.

Dr. Becker graduated with honors from Mississippi College, where he received a scholarship to play Division II football and earned a degree in Biomedical Sciences. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After medical school, Dr. Becker completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at NYU Langone – Long Island in New York, and subsequently completed his fellowship training in adult reconstruction at the Carrell Clinic in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Becker chose a career in hip and knee reconstruction for its unique ability to transform lives—relieving pain, restoring mobility, and empowering patients to return to the activities they love. With each patient, his goal is to restore not only function, but also confidence, comfort, and a fulfilling quality of life.

Dr. Becker is a member of both the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in the most advanced and up to date orthopaedic procedures available today, including minimally invasive anterior hip and quad-sparing knee replacements, partial knee replacement, periprosthetic fracture care, and complex revision hip and knee surgeries. He uses cutting-edge technologies—including artificial intelligence, robotics, computer navigation, and intraoperative imaging—to maximize surgical accuracy, precision, and safety.

When not caring for his patients Dr. Becker, a Texas Native, enjoys running, biking, fishing, and spending time with his lovely wife and their family in the great outdoors.
