Ms. Janice Collins

Janice Collins, CNM, is excited to partner with the patients at Inspire Ob/Gyn, LLC, in Johns Creek, Georgia. With nearly 30 years of experience caring for women and infants, she endeavors to empower her patients in both office and hospital settings to have health experiences that are personal and comfortable. Janice is an expert in gynecological care, prenatal care, and childbirth.

Janice received her first undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama. During a stint as a summer intern in the marketing department of a major hospital, Janice first fell in love with the idea of providing hands-on patient care. She went back to the books for a second undergraduate degree in nursing from Georgia Southern in Savannah, Georgia.

While completing her training to become a nurse, Janice was able to work in both a high-risk obstetrics unit and a free-standing birth center. Determined to provide women access to midwifery care in the hospital setting, she graduated with a Master's Degree in Midwifery from Thomas Jefferson University in 2004.

Janice has been privileged to care for thousands of women and usher thousands of babies safely into the world. She is comfortable with any safe delivery style a mother desires. Along with pregnancy, Janice also loves advising on breastfeeding, contraception, and well-woman care. She is a trained Centering Pregnancy facilitator and appreciates that pregnancy is a challenging time for modern mothers.

When not working, Janice enjoys spending time with her husband, two grown sons, and extended family. She also enjoys good food, reading, Jazzercise, watching movies, traveling, and all things Disney.
