This was my first ever visit with Doctor Cooper . My experience was excellent starting with Brianna at the reception desk. The doctor ordered an x-ray related to my hip pain and walked me through the result with tremendous insightShow more. He asked me if I had ever torn my hamstring based upon what he saw in the x-ray. In his Beverly Hills and Brentwood offices, Dr. Cooper provides customized cutting-edge care for fractures, shoulder instability, knee ligament injuries, hip pain, rotator cuff injuries, and other orthopedic conditions and sports injuries.
Dr. Cooper earned his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and went on to medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. In medical school, he was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, and he graduated with honors.
During his residency at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California, faculty members chose Dr. Cooper as an American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) resident leader and named him as an emerging leader in the world of orthopedic medicine.
Following his residency, Dr. Cooper went on to pursue fellowship training in advanced arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery to treat complex sports injuries and knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow disorders.
During his time at the world-renowned Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado, Dr. Cooper trained under some of the foremost leaders in the sports medicine field, including Tom Hackett, MD, Peter J. Millett, MD, Marc Philippon, MD, and Matt Provencher, MD.
As part of his fellowship, Dr. Cooper worked directly with professional, collegiate, high school, and recreational athletes. He currently serves as a team physician for the United States ski and snowboard teams.

Though it takes us two hours just to see Dr. Cooper for knee injections, it’s worth the hassle of driving to see him. No complications — the procedure is quick and easy. His assistant, Yvonne, is always super nice and professional every time we meet.

Dr. Cooper performed two knee replacement surgeries on me and did a fabulous job. He was easy to communicate with and patiently answered all my questions along the way. The office staff was also really helpful and available.

Good experience though it did seem slightly rushed and formulaic. I felt however that I was in good hands and will most likely use Dr. Cooper for DSA for hip replacement.
