I’ve said this before but it definitely is worth repeating. Dr. Honegger is smart, compassionate, understanding and helpful on so many levels. I went through breast cancer treatment chemo and radiation last year. The medications tShow morehat follow those treatments, for my type of cancer can be absolutely debilitating. Born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula, Dr. Honegger feels privileged to provide comprehensive gynecologic and integrative health care to the women in her community at Rise Carmel in Carmel, California.
After graduating summa cum laude from Notre Dame de Namur University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she attended Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and then completed a rigorous four-year OB/GYN residency program at the University of Hawaii. In 2012, she relocated to the Monterey Peninsula and began fulfilling her lifelong dream of caring for women during all of life’s stages.
During her 12 years as a general obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Honegger found herself drawn to caring for women transitioning through hormonal changes. Over the last few years, she has immersed herself in the study of perimenopause, menopause, hormone optimization, intimate wellness, and integrative health.
Dr. Honegger is married with two children, and in her free time she enjoys traveling with her family, watching her children play water polo, trying new ethnic cuisines, practicing breathwork and meditation, and chasing epic sunsets around the world.

Dr. Honegger is thorough and has already helped me so much in 6 weeks. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to see her about my hormones.
Dr. Honegger figured out the reason for my ailments a few years ago. I appreciate not only her objectivity but her collaborative nature and genuine bedside mannerism. Happy to discover she is still in practice and although I have to pay out of pocket for portions of my visits with her, she is worth it.
For once I feel my concerns where validated. Dr Honnegar is up to date in her practice and has great advice, great personality, easy to talk to. Will highly recommend her.
I can’t say enough about Dr Honegger. She’s thoughtful, compassionate and encouraging. I’ve had some issues with other medications and Dr H., has spent time and effort to make sure that I receive the correct treatment is available. She is compassionate and patient with my issues.
