Kaitlin Schild, AGNP, is an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner at Gateway Gastroenterology, a gastroenterology and hepatology practice in Chestfield, Missouri. She is committed to providing exceptional care to patients living in and around Saint Louis County.
Kaitlin received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Missouri – Columbia and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Maryville University in Saint Louis. She became board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2017. She spent five years working as a registered nurse in a surgical unit at Saint Luke’s Hospital.
She feels the most rewarding aspect of her job is getting to know her patients personally and seeing how she positively impacts their lives. In her free time outside of the office, she enjoys any kind of outdoor activity and playing with her puppy, Stanley.

Good experience. Nurse Schild greeted me right on time and conducted a thorough interview concerning my use of Eliquis. She competently explained the added concern for someone on a blood thinner undergoing a colonoscopy. Afterward, she made sure I was scheduled for the appointment. All very professional.
