We are proud to offer Dr. Kathy Lynn Head JD MD MPH CIME for medical legal consultation work, specifically, Independent Medical evaluations as they relate to Worker's Compensation and also personal injury medical-legal evaluations.

Dr. Kathy Lynn Head is a native of New Mexico having graduated from the University of New Mexico with a double major Bachelor of Science in 1987, followed by a Juris Doctor cum laude in 1990 from Tulane Law School and a medical doctor degree in 1995 from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. This was followed by a Master's of Public Health and completion of an Occupational Medicine residency at the University of Southern California/University of California Los Angeles joint program with ongoing board certification in Occupational Medicine since the year 2000.

Dr Kathy Lynn Head has been working as Occupational Medicine physician in clinical practice since 1998 and continues to do so at this time.

Additionally, she has worked for nearly 2 decades as an Independent Medical Evaluator, and during this time has also maintained her status as a Certified Independent Medical Evaluator in AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 6th edition. Her experience in this area is vast having completed hundreds of medical legal evaluations during her work as an IME, including complex diagnoses as sequela of motor vehicle accidents, traumatic brain injuries, long -Covid, and addressing issues of causation and apportionment as examples, with expertise.
