I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with more than 15 years of experience in mental health & human services. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I'm currently a Doctoral Candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy. Throughout my career, I've helped individuals and couples address anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, workplace stress, burnout, self-esteem issues, & communication challenges. As the Founder and Clinical Director of Spencer Counseling Services, I provide telehealth counseling to clients across Texas, Louisiana, Florida, New Jersey, and North Carolina. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, & practical. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, & Family Systems approaches to help clients identify patterns, build coping skills, and create lasting change. Clients often describe me as warm, relatable, and direct when needed. I believe therapy should be a partnership where we uncover strengths, build resilience, and develop strategies that fit your unique goals. Outside of counseling, I am passionate about mentoring future therapists and advancing counselor education.
