Great customer experience! First, Pleasant Family Dentistry accommodated me by fitting me in at the last minute for a regular bi-annual visit at 3:30 that afternoon. During the visit we discovered that I had a filling that needeShow mored to be replaced and they got be in at 6:00 pm the same day to take care of that as well. My dental hygienist was Amber-- she was very knowledgeable and upbeat, and made an unpleasant situation actually very enjoyable. Dr. Sperber was also very knowledgeable and personable, as was Taylor who assisted throughout. I really appreciated how accommodating he was for my schedule, esp getting me in at the last minute for a filling. He also reviewed everything that was going on with my teeth to include going over the options to resolve what will become future issues to address. Finally Dr. Sperber developed a care plan to address future concerns, which I appreciated. Pleasant Family Dentistry takes a wholistic approach by not only taking care of my dental needs, but also making the whole experience a great one.
Being 67 I’ve been in the dentist chair many times. Even with Novocain it always seemed every time they drilled to be always a moment of real pain. Today’s procedures were the finest I’ve ever had. Besides, the doctor of self therShow moree were three assistance there at all time. The young lady that was being trained, did phenomenal job, It almost is like I’m looking forward to getting my next cleaning
Lawrence Sarner, DMD, is a general dentist practicing at Pleasant Family Dentistry, located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. His goal is to help individuals living in and around Charleston County improve their oral health and ensure the longevity of their smiles.
Dr. Sarner was born and raised on Long Island, New York. After attending State University in Albany, he earned his DMD at Tufts University in Boston. He met his wife Melissa in school, and after spending two years back on Long Island, they moved to the suburbs outside of Boston, where they practiced for twenty-two years. After a couple of vacations to the Charleston area, they knew the charm and beauty of the area was calling.
Dr. Sarner is thrilled to be part of the team at Pleasant Family Dentistry. In addition to focusing on caring for his patients, he enjoys dining out, physical fitness, and martial arts. He is looking forward to enjoying the beautiful outdoors that the area has to offer.

Took care of problem quickly
I call to make an appointment because I chip my tooth and I got an appointment the next day. The doctor and staff was so friendly.
Doctor did a great job numbing my gum before inserting needles. Explained well what he was going to do before doing procedure. Made sure the crown fit well before releasing me.
Nice visit unfortunately the temporary crown fell out 24 hours after being cement back in. Will need to set up another appointment.

Everything was fine except my prescription was never called in. 9am appt. Was told they were calling in an antibiotic. Went to pharmacy at 4pm and no prescription

I appreciate been seen so promptly for my broken tooth. I wish Dr. Sarner spent more time with me explanation the pros and cons of each procedure. For example, does a bridge damage the surrounding teeth? How long does a bridge last? Is it subject to decay the teeth? Dr. Sarner seemed to be in a rush that day. Would have liked the opportunity to talk some more before the procedure.
My son John remarked that this was the best ever dental appointment. I have been very pleased as well. Dr. McKeeman is wonderful. We love the way he explains procedures. He is so patient with us.
