I had the stem cell therapy done on both of my knees yesterday My right knee is at stage 4 and the left at a stage 2. While I was initially very nervous the people here quickly put me at ease. The nurse, Amanda, was upbeat, comShow moreforting, and willing to answer questions prior to Dr. Oliver's arrival. Dr. Oliver was fantastic! She explained what she was doing every step of the way. I had a basic idea of the procedure from the literature on the website and from the calls from the nurses prior to my appointment (who were also very helpful) her explanation was much appreciated. She is so very kind and caring. I became aware of her skills from hearing about the large number of people who had gone to her from the county where I grew up, and knew that if they were driving a considerable distance (about 6 hours) to see her that she must have a lot of success. Everyone here is wonderful. I had expected pain from what I had read and was told, but the procedure really wasn't that bad. We drove 11 hours home that same day and I was only a bit stiff and sore in the knees. Today is the second day and I'm getting around better than I have in a long time. If the rest of the recovery goes as well as it has so far, I'll will be thrilled! I highly recommend Dr. Oliver and her team!
My husband has had constant pain for over 30 years & been on opioids the same. 3 years ago he had a hip revision that didn’t hold which left him with severe nerve damage in addition. He has multiple issues w hips & back. He had sShow moretem cell back in sept 2018 by dr Podesta & had immediate relief. I waited to do this recommendation so that I could report a full & complete update. Since the injection he has had multiple issues dealing w the changes but I’m happy to report the injections have taken him to a 0 pain level for the first time in 30 years! His leg had be loosing muscle w atrophy setting in and swollen for 2 years. Swelling is gone he is building some muscle in pt & hopefully will get stronger. I can’t say that it works for everyone but it for sure is doing great on him. We would definitely see him again if needed, & we drove 4 hours to get this done because he came w great recommendations & didn’t just start doing this. Thank you Dr Podesta.

Very nervous meeting with Doctor. After a few minutes of discussion, I felt very comfortable and reassured. Dr. Podesta took the time to answer any and all questions regarding the recommended procedure to help relieve the pain in my arthritic knee. Our consultation lasted over one hour. The office arranged to have X-Rays and MRI scheduled for the following day. After review, we will make arrangements to return next month to have the procedure performed. I feel I have made the right decision choosing Dr. Podesta for my medical needs.

Dr. Podesta is the rare Doctor that does not just treat symptoms, he looks for the the reason for the symptoms and treats the underlying issue. In many cases this will avoid surgery, or drugs that can cause other issues. I had broken my leg skiing many years ago and problems in ankle, knee, hip and back were increasing. I gave up talking to Drs. about the problems I had and how they were related. I finally found Dr. Podesta and I wish I had seen him years ago. He would have prevented some of the loss I had as well as surgery.
