Maelyn Dishman, PA-C, is an exceptional physician assistant at Cypress Urology in Houston, Texas. She joined the practice in 2022 and provides patients with effective and compassionate care.
Maelyn grew up in the Midwest and attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, for both her undergraduate and master’s degree. She earned her Bachelor of Science in health sciences in 2011 and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2012.
Upon graduation, Maelyn moved to Houston and worked in primary care for 10 years before deciding to specialize in urology. Maelyn is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the state of Texas to practice medicine.
She is a participating member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Urology Association, and a local member of the Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association.
Maelyn’s personal interests include gardening, tennis, various crafting, and spending time with her friends and family.
She is currently seeing only existing patients at Cypress Urology.

Got there a little early for my appointment and filled out the paperwork and was called back to the examination room. Quick test done and she came into the room. Discussed the lab work and she explained everything clearly. Plan in place and will return in six months.
