I would like Dr. Taylor to come in the room and talk to me instead of standing at the door not really going over my case Just allowing his nurse practitioners to tell him what’s going on with me I am in a lot of pain the pain In mShow morey hip and my knees has nothing to do with my back but he told me that the pain is coming from my back I have three tears two in my knees and one of my hip I have a really bad back but I don’t wanna be told that my hip and my knees are hurting because of my back my knees are tour and my hip is tour I would like him to spend some time with me so we can talk about how to fix the problem I live in a lot of pain I don’t take any type of pain medication because it does not agree with my body I was referred to Dr. Taylor I was told he was the best doctor out here and I believe that I would just like him to sit down and talk to me instead of coming in the office and giving me a shot or standing in the door talking to me I am 68 years old and I don’t wanna live in pain for the rest of my life I would love for him to help me so that I could have a better quality of life before I get too old all the ladies that work in the office are beautiful and have a beautiful personality and I think Dr. Taylor is a very nice doctor I’m just asking for a little bit more time to see how we can fix this problem I think Dr. Taylor for the survey and I hope and I pray that he can help me because I heard he was the best Orthopedic doctor in the antelope Valley
I have had several Ortho Doctors all have failed to truly help me get better. Dr Taylor and his team have not only worked on the best solutions to help me live a normal life physically they continue to battle the work comp machinShow moree so I get the help in a timely manor. Their Physical Therapy Department lead by Troy and Drew with their staff have made this difficult journey with the pains. Helpful knowledgable there are not enough stars to express my appreciation and despite the disabilities I struggle with it’s been this team/ organization that has moved me forward mentally physically spiritually they are all pleasant helpful and caring. Mehul Taylor, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Valley Orthopedic Institute in Palmdale and Ridgecrest, California. In addition to treating male and female patients of all ages who have general orthopedic issues, Dr. Taylor specializes in diagnosing and treating athletic injuries and arthroscopic surgeries.
Dr. Taylor has firm roots in Southern California, having grown up in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles County and graduated from Calabasas High School in Calabasas. Dr. Taylor earned his Bachelor of Science in physiological sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Taylor then earned his medical degree at Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, where he graduated with honors in 2002. He was also elected to the noted Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Next came an orthopedic residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, before Dr. Taylor traveled to Minnesota for the University of Minnesota’s sports medicine fellowship program. There, he received advanced training in arthroscopic surgery and served as an assistant team physician for the university’s football team.
Dr. Taylor is affiliated with two hospitals where he also treats patients: Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster and Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale.

Dr Taylor is extremely professional and thorough in his explanations of your condition and his recommendations. The office is friendly and thorough. The surgical team that he uses is experienced and knowledgeable. They have performed multiple procedures on myself and my wife over the years without any complaints. We both highly recommend VOI.

Dr. Taylor is wonderful. He’s an excellent listener, answered my questions and clearly explained my injury and healing process. Also, the staff is really nice and efficient and each time I visit, my wait time isn’t more than 10 minutes.

Usually my appointments go really well in this office and always once I'm actually with the doctor but for some reason my appointment was not recorded at the time it was made so they slipped me into a canceled appointment (at the same time my appointment was supposed to be) but then I had to wait another 45 minutes before actually being called back. I just felt like I wasted a lot of time unnecessarily this time but Dr. Taylor is always very good and listens well, takes care of issues promptly and is quite effective.

The medical staff is always attentive and caring and professional but office staff are not very friendly or, act like you’re bothering them. Sorry but I sat waiting cause I was early and watched how they treated the patients. I worked at front desk for years and it was apauling to me.
The internet was down so Dr. Taylor did not see my x-rays. This disappointed me. He said he would see them later and call me. I have not heard from him. My appointment was Thursday. I hope he will call me on Monday. I want to know about it because it was my one-year check and I will not see him for another year.
