I am thrilled to have found Dr. Esposito and this practice. This practice runs like a well oiled machine. Dr. Esposito and all his staff are top notch. I have seen him for 2 separate pain issues and he is outstanding. Our previousShow more, excellent, pain management doctor moved to Boston and it has taken us a while to find some as good as him. Dr. Esposito most definitely is. Better yet, his practice is independent and not affiliated with Cleveland Clinic.

Michael Esposito, MD, founded the Interventional Spine & Pain Institute – located in Vero Beach and Palm Bay, Florida – in order to create a multidisciplinary, patient-centric practice to treat a wide range of acute and chronic pain syndromes. Dr. Esposito is double board-certified in pain medicine and anesthesia by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is an expert in all aspects of pain medicine.
Dr. Esposito leverages his pain medicine specialty to help patients manage even the most complex pain, treating a wide variety of pain types with comprehensive, personalized, and evidence-based care. He treats chronic and acute pain, including cancer pain, neurological pain, and musculoskeletal pain, while offering each patient a personalized interventional treatment plan that may include tailored physical therapy, medication, and fluoroscopic/ultrasound-guided interventional pain and spine procedures. These procedures include implantable spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulators, radiofrequency ablation, targeted intrathecal drug delivery systems, kyphoplasty, lumbar decompression, and more.
Dr. Esposito’s journey began at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating with Honors, before attending Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. There, he completed his Doctor of Medicine degree before moving on to complete his residency in anesthesiology in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at The University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Esposito went on to complete an interventional pain medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts, where he also worked as an anesthesiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital serving veterans in the same capacity at the Veterans Affairs West Roxbury Hospital.
With a passion for teaching, Dr. Esposito extends his expertise to others by serving as an Assistant Professor of anesthesiology at the University of Central Florida and is a resource for medical students, residents, and fellows. He also serves as a key board member for several professional societies, regional organizations, and national boards that are dedicated to advancing treatments in the field of pain medicine. He’s also actively involved in research to find new, minimally invasive ways to treat spinal pain and has served as principal investigator, expert faculty, peer reviewer, and lecturer for several clinical research studies, well-respected journals, and at various nation-wide conferences. Dr. Esposito has greatly contributed to the advancements in pain management technology, patient education forums, and improved patient outcomes, garnering numerous accolades, awards, and recognition for his work, reinforcing his tireless dedication and commitment to advancing treatments in the field of pain medicine.

Thank you Dr Esposito and staff for making the pain in my shoulder go very painful at first but seems to be working so far thank you again see in November for the second shot then maybe we can talk concentrate on the left shoulder

As always Dr Esposito done a spot on perfect performance on fixing my dreaded painful Sciatica’s. Can’t say it any other way but; He’s a genius, spot on everytime guru!
