Founded by double board-certified pain management specialist Michael Esposito, MD, the Interventional Spine and Pain Institute offers the most cutting-edge, minimally invasive interventional techniques to treat chronic pain while providing the highest quality pain management solutions to the people living in and around Vero Beach and Palm Bay, Florida.

Dr. Esposito takes a multidisciplinary approach to pain management for those who seek relief from chronic back and neck pain, arthritis and joint pain, and complex regional pain syndrome. He can also help patients manage persistent symptoms of failed back surgery syndrome and neuropathy.

Available treatments include fluoroscopy-guided injections such as joint injections, epidural injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, as well as regenerative therapies using stem cells and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Dr. Esposito offers spinal cord stimulation trial and implant procedures for severe neck, back, and limb pain caused by degenerative disc disease, failed neck and back surgery syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome, and peripheral neuropathy. Dr. Esposito offers radiofrequency ablation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, and peripheral nerve stimulation trials and implants to patients who suffer from persistent pain, despite joint replacement surgery.

For those at risk of disability from compression fractures of the spine, Dr. Esposito offers minimally invasive spine procedures like kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty. And for those who have persistent spinal pain due to degenerative disc disease or vertebrogenic pain, Dr. Esposito offers VIA Disc™ and the Intracept® procedure.

Interventional Spine and Pain Institute also provides a variety of minimally invasive spine treatments designed to treat chronic lower back and leg pain caused by spinal stenosis, including the Vertiflex™ - mild® procedures. Dr. Esposito also offers minimally invasive and outpatient sacroiliac joint and lumbar fusion procedures for those patients who cannot have or do not want conventional surgery.
