Dr. Mona Clor

Mona Clor, MD, is a highly qualified Primary Care Physician and Urgent Care physician at Michigan Avenue Primary Care, serving patients throughout The Loop of downtown Chicago, Illinois. 

Dr. Clor is board-certified in Aesthetic Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Physicians. With extensive experience in both primary care and urgent care settings, she is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients.

Dr. Clor received her postgraduate education at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, where she earned an M.Sc. degree in Clinical Biochemistry. Her graduate education includes a Bachelors in Medicine & Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) from the same institution. She completed her Family Practice Residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford in Rockford, IL.

Throughout her career, Dr. Clor has held various positions that showcase her versatility and expertise. She has served as a family physician in private practice in Baghdad, Iraq, and as a biology teacher in Jordan. In the United States, she taught Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, and Ecology at Somerset Community College in Somerset, KY. She has also held roles as an Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine physician, a Family Medicine physician, and a Medical Director for a Medspa. She also worked at both the Chicago Sports Medicine Institute and Chicago Medical Center Urgent Care.

Dr. Clor is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, staying updated with the latest developments in family medicine. Her interests include reading, traveling, and volunteering for humanitarian causes, reflecting her dedication to lifelong learning and community service.
