Honestly I don’t even know where to begin. The receptionist I spoke to on the phone had absolutely no idea what she was talking about and was very rude when I tried explaining I had 2 insurance not one. If I could give zero stars Show moreI would. The receptionist role is supposed to be open, friendly, and greeting new clients. After all we are paying them! She should have checked that the doctor “no longer worked with my insurance” when she called that morning to confirm the appointment. This is very unprofessional considering I drove 3 hours thinking the appointment was all set, for her to then call me 5 hours later stating the appointment was canceled. Over all probably the worst healthcare facility I have seen and I work in healthcare! Go here if you want to be greeted by judgmental and rude staff. Never have I experienced this! Very disappointed.
Dr. Jaddou ALWAYS takes good care of myself, and my family. He also makes sure that his staff gives you a thorough question and answer session about whatever concerns you have, so that he is prepared to go over all of your concernShow mores with you, by the time he sees you. I appreciate that in a physician. Also, I'd like to say that Dr. Little was also most pleasant to do my initial exam with, and very thorough, not to mention that the nurses who gave my shots today, were kind, and professional. I have been going to Dr Jaddou for about 10 or 12 years, and I have always been very happy with his caring nature, his office staff, and his practice in general!
Meet Dr. Neil Jaddou
Neil Jaddou MD has been a practicing physician for over 20 years. He provides comprehensive medical care for adults and children at Somerset Family Medicine SFM. A widely respected member of the Troy and Sterling Heights communities, Dr. Jaddou enjoys working with a diverse group of patients throughout the Detroit area.
Dr. Jaddou graduated with honors from Wayne State University Medical School, which is one of the top medical schools in the country. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at St. John Hospital before transferring to Detroit Medical Center to complete a residency in family practice. Today, Dr. Jaddou is a board-certified family doctor and is a member of the medical staff at Beaumont Troy and Royal Oak, St. John, Henry Ford and DMC hospitals.
Throughout his medical career, Dr. Jaddou has earned many awards and academic distinctions. The Somerset Family Medicine SFM office recently won an award from Genesys Health System for high levels of patient satisfaction.
Dr. Jaddou seeks to provide his patients with friendly, knowledgeable, affordable medical care. He believes that patient bio-social aspect and the stress of his or her environment affects the patient's condition. He involves his patients in the decision-making process. He takes pride in treating patients from many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, and his office provides each patient with plenty of one-on-one attention.
An active medical researcher and writer, he brings the latest medical technology and research to patient care. Dr. Jaddou authors a monthly health column in the Troy-Somerset Gazette. He’s also a clinical professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at Wayne State University Medical School and Oakland Beaumont Medical School where he teaches medical students to become skilled and compassionate doctors.
Neil Jaddou, MD, enjoys nature, gardening, going to Lifetime Fitness, traveling, and going out with his friends. He enjoys spending time with his family, and his marriage was blessed by Pope Francis. He has one child named Francis.

Dr. Jaddou saw me the next day after I contacted his office about some knee pain I was experiencing. The visit was quick and thorough. He took x-rays right in his office and determined I had a torn meniscus. He fixed me right up with some medication and a knee wrap. While this will take some time to heal, and I may have to go to a specialist, the point is, I was able to go back to work after a day of rest, and function normally instead of hobbling around somewhat crippled.
