Nnabugwu Ohia-Enyia, RN

I am Nnabu, a registered nurse and current Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) student at New York University. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NYU in 2021, and since then I have built clinical experience in some of the most dynamic and high-acuity psychiatric settings, currently working in both an inpatient psychiatric hospital and a psychiatric ICU. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions and the many ways a compassionate clinician can support individuals during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. My clinical interests center on adults navigating mood and anxiety disorders, and I am passionate about community mental health and reducing the stigma that continues to surround many psychiatric conditions. For me, that begins with creating a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood without judgment.
