I have heard psychiatrist horror stories that made me very nervous to start taking medication. Shakiya has looked out and advocated for me every step of this process. She usually understands my brain better than I can! I instantly felt comfortable talking to Shakiya and actively look forward to getting to check-in with her every month. Jennifer has been such a breath of fresh air. She genuinely cares and every session is about you. She is understanding and has such a welcoming and sweet demeanor - it's easy to open up to her. When I reached out to her, I was a bit of a mess (and there truly is never any judgment). Since then, I have been properly diagnosed and have been healing.
