Dr. Prachi Thapar is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and a DFW native. She grew up in Flower Mound, TX, and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her medical school education at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. Subsequently, Dr. Thapar completed her Family Medicine residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, where she developed a robust clinical background and a deep understanding of patient care.
She became a Family Medicine doctor as it provided the opportunity to be on the frontline of preventive healthcare, working as a part of a collaborative effort to establish long-lasting relationships with patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds to understand their unique narratives. Her commitment to her patients goes beyond mere treatment; she strives to empower them and to work together towards a shared vision of equitable health and well-being.
Dr. Thapar also has a strong interest in structured healthcare advocacy efforts and is dedicated to addressing health disparities and promoting inclusive care that respects and acknowledges the varied experiences and needs of her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Thapar is an avid dancer and amateur painter. She enjoys reading the latest mystery novels, attempting to solve challenging crossword puzzles, and traveling.

Dr. Thapar is the best Dr. ever, she is very knowledgeable, patient and will listen to all of your concerns. I am glad that I was referred to her, I was hesitant at first because she was a new Dr for me, but I am glad that she's my PCP and I am not going anywhere else.
Comprehensive and compassionate care
I feel very happy and privileged to have the services of Dr. Thapar. She is always polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Answers questions, doesn't make you feel she's in a rush to get to the next patient. If one treatment doesn't seem to be working she doesn't hesitate to try another. As busy as I know she is, she always endeavors to be there for her patient. I am grateful for her care.

Please add more stars because 5 does not suffice to depict the extraordinary experience I had with Tiffany! She is not only knowledgeable, professional, experienced, receptive, and polished, but her bedside manner should be replicated and taught. The entire experience from the clean modern aesthetic of the office to the quick and kind intake process to the utilization & explanation of technology was truly top tier. Not only would I recommend but have recommended this practice.
