Great customer experience! First, Pleasant Family Dentistry accommodated me by fitting me in at the last minute for a regular bi-annual visit at 3:30 that afternoon. During the visit we discovered that I had a filling that needeShow mored to be replaced and they got be in at 6:00 pm the same day to take care of that as well. My dental hygienist was Amber-- she was very knowledgeable and upbeat, and made an unpleasant situation actually very enjoyable. Dr. Sperber was also very knowledgeable and personable, as was Taylor who assisted throughout. I really appreciated how accommodating he was for my schedule, esp getting me in at the last minute for a filling. He also reviewed everything that was going on with my teeth to include going over the options to resolve what will become future issues to address. Finally Dr. Sperber developed a care plan to address future concerns, which I appreciated. Pleasant Family Dentistry takes a wholistic approach by not only taking care of my dental needs, but also making the whole experience a great one.
Being 67 I’ve been in the dentist chair many times. Even with Novocain it always seemed every time they drilled to be always a moment of real pain. Today’s procedures were the finest I’ve ever had. Besides, the doctor of self therShow moree were three assistance there at all time. The young lady that was being trained, did phenomenal job, It almost is like I’m looking forward to getting my next cleaning
Rick Jackowski, DDS, is a general dentist and a vital member of the team at Pleasant Family Dentistry, located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Dr. Jackowski was born in New York City and raised on Long Island. He attended Syracuse University for undergrad (Go Orangemen!) but then realized cold weather was not for him and started looking for a dental school in the south. He attended and graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and decided Richmond was still not warm enough. He then visited and fell in love with the charm of the Charleston area.
In 1989 Rick gave away his winter coats and moved to sunny Mount Pleasant, where he opened his practice over 30 years ago. He and his wife, Krissa, have two daughters, Morgan and Kaitlyn. Spending time with his family is on the top of his to-do list, along with traveling to new places, boating, fishing, riding bikes, and reading.

I call to make an appointment because I chip my tooth and I got an appointment the next day. The doctor and staff was so friendly.
Nice visit unfortunately the temporary crown fell out 24 hours after being cement back in. Will need to set up another appointment.

Debbie and Dr Jackowski performed a painless and comfortable replacement of a crown on a molar tooth. It is wonderful to have the entire procedure done in just one visit.
