I am relocating to the Florence area and needed a good primary care doctor. I did my research and decided Dr. Mohr would be a good choice. Boy oh boy did this payboff in spades. I had my first visit with Dr. Mohr yesterday. FrShow moreom the very beginning the entire staff was focused on me and my well being. Each and every interaction was filled with kindness, concern, and focus on my health. Then came the home run with bases loaded. Dr. Mohr entered the room. His focus, me. He took the time to really listen and understand my prior health history, current health, and my goals. He and I focused on what I needed to keep me healthy and move to a better me. This type of detail and caring is a lost art. One of my youth of over 40 years ago when patients weren't just a number in a computer system and some hospital was forcing a timer and pushing their services on the patient. Bottom line, if you're looking for one heck of a physician who cares. Dr. Mohr is definitely the one to see in the Florence area. I'm looking forward to partnering with him and his staff as long as they'll have me.

Dr. Mohr earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. After graduation, Dr. Mohr went through an internship and family medicine residency at McLeod Health Regional Medical Center in Florence.
By continuing his education and training regularly, Dr. Mohr stays abreast of the most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment solutions available. He maintains his board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine and specializes in lifestyle interventions over medications, when possible, for patients of all ages.

Dr. Mohr and his staff are by far the most caring medical team I know. When I go for my appointments, I feel like I’m family. I love that I’m treated as an individual and not a number. My appointments never seem rushed. Dr. Mohr is kind and caring and his office is truly a place of healing.

I had a sudden bout with a very sore throat with difficulty swallowing, and called to get in for a strep test. That was done within 30 minutes after arriving. The test was negative, and I was asked if I wanted to see the doctor. I was able to do that rather quickly for a walk in, and get meds prescribed to help with my sore throat pain.

I’ve been going to Dr Mohr’s practice for a number of years. His staff is always friendly and professional. I can’t brag enough about the nurse that draws my blood. Everywhere else I leave black and blue, but not here. Dr Mohr is very attentive, thorough and I’ve never felt like number being rushed in and out. His practice is the best!
