Dr. Ritu Goel, PMHNP-BC

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I began my journey to psychiatry as a registered nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2006. I spent 14 years gaining clinical experience working with adolescent and adult inpatients and in emergency departments and correctional facilities. After helping people at the bedside and working with multidisciplinary teams treating various psychiatric disorders, I realized this was a passion for myself and thus decided to advance my career as a PMHNP-BC. I am committed to supplying personalized and comprehensive care. My practice follows evidence-based guidelines and uses clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. At MWP we provide thorough psychiatric evaluations and an individualized medication management plan with special attention to one’s needs. We believe that a holistic and innovative approach is ideal for the psychiatric population, their care, and illness management.
