Dr. Quijada is very patient and just wants to help. She may run late on appointments, but it is worth the wait because she takes her time never making you feel rushed. She asks tons of questions which I appreciate because she is vShow moreery thorough. Unlike the usual dry rushed appointments you get with other psychiatrists, Dr. Q shows emotion and compassion. She also gets my family’s perspective on how I am doing. Sometimes we think we are fine but our family remembers we were crying last week.
I have been a patient with Dr. Q for about 4 years. I have had a few ups and downs though the years, but one constant has been Dr. Q and her team. Melissa is always quickly available to help with scheduling, and tele visit help.Show more Dr. Q actually takes the time to listen, to understand me. I have been blessed to find such a supportive Dr. ; I now live 100 miles from her office, but am able to see her via Telehealth visits.

Love her ! Love her ! Love her! She is so open and listens. Asks the right questions without making you feel intruded upon. She has work with my for many years to get me on the right medication regimen that works for me! She’s so easy to talk to. I love her to pieces!

Dr Johnson-Quijada is amazing. Always there when you need her. Staff is also great and respond quickly. I have seen other Psychiatrists in the past and none ever took the time to really listen or that I felt really listened to me. While I am resistant to relying on medication, I do feel that she is very knowledgeable about what will work for my present condition. I am grateful she is apart of my road to recovery.

Dr. Q listens carefully and helps to push past your surface level responses to see what you really need. She's thorough and caring and I actually feel she's the only doctor that might have ever really known me.

Very happy and confident with her care
This was only my first with visit with Dr. Quijada. Although my first visit was only 30 minutes we were able to discuss some key points and lay down some groundwork for future visits. Dr. Quijada also gave me some great resources to start off right away. I’m looking forward to our next session.
To truly put 100% of my trust into someone period especially someone I just met is rare. She was absolutely amazing and made me feel comfortable enough to open up and dish out 37yrs of stuff I held in…I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I have been seeing Dr. Q for about 4 years. It has been life changing!! She listens and shows care and desire to truly help. I have had to message before in an emergency. They had me in within 2 hours. If my insurance forced me to see another Dr. I would happily just pay her cash price. I don't see how anyone else could or would help me anymore.
