Dr. Stephanie Schwartz, MD

Stephanie Schwartz, MD, is a board-certified neurologist working with patients around Baytown, Texas, at Jacinto Medical Group, of which she is a founding member and current vice president. Dr. Schwartz has been practicing neurology since 1989. She is also director of University General Hospital Sleep Lab in Baytown.

A native of Germany, Dr. Schwartz graduated from the University of Munich with a doctorate in medicine in 1982. Two years later, Dr. Schwartz moved to Dallas, where she completed her neurology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Schwartz went on to finish a sleep disorders fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

After meeting Dr. Rafael Pardo in 1992, Dr. Schwartz decided to join Jacinto Medical Group in 1996, becoming one of the practice’s earliest members. She has been treating neurology patients in Baytown ever since.

In addition to neurology, Dr. Schwartz specializes in psychiatry and is board-certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. She is dedicated to providing each one of her patients with the latest advances in neurology treatments and technology.

Dr. Schwartz belongs to several professional organizations, including the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the Harris County Medical Society.

A world traveler and fluent in several languages, including English, Spanish, German, and French, Dr. Schwartz is passionate about environmental issues and modern art, and loves spending time with her three children.
