Yadimahara Alvarez, ACSW, MSW

Yadimahara Alvarez is a compassionate therapist who supports children, youth, and families through life’s challenges. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University and her MSW and PPSC from the University of Southern California (USC), focusing on young people and their families. Yadimahara has worked extensively with at-risk foster youth, including in Intensive Field-Based Services and Wraparound programs, supporting individuals facing challenges such as CSEC, DID, anxiety, depression, and substance use. She integrates evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Therapy, and Risk Assessment. Yadimahara creates a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can build resilience, find healing, and feel empowered through every step of their journey.
