I'm 66 years old. An MRI revealed I have moderate to severe osteoarthritis in my right shoulder. Two cortizone shots from my orthopedic doctor didn't help me. I read about hyaluronic acid shots online and found Dr. ZacharShow morey Perlman online. He gave me three shots a week apart. The shots act as a lubricant and a shock absorber. The shots took away 95% of my pain about two weeks after the third shot. I can weight lift again. I can perform routine tasks without aggravating my arm. Alex Todoroff
Dr. Perlman is terrific, he gets right to the problem and handles it. I have been there for a couple of different problems and he has found out what it was and took care of it immediately. The staff is also APlus. they are friendlShow morey, cordial and respectful. I would reccommend this doctor and his staff to anyone who needs an orthopedic doctor. Zachary Perlman, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine and primary care sports medicine specialist in Little Silver, New Jersey. At Kai Sports Medicine, Dr. Perlman provides care for athletes and the general population and is particularly interested in minimally invasive orthopedic procedures, including ultrasound-guided joint injections. He is fascinated with longevity medicine and sports nutrition and also plans to obtain his certification in obesity medicine.
Dr. Perlman spent his childhood in Toms River, New Jersey, near the shore. He earned his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in molecular biology and biochemistry and completed medical school in South Florida at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
His residency training involved three years in internal medicine and one year in general surgery, as he was always drawn to the procedural aspects of medicine. He furthered his training with a primary care sports medicine fellowship in San Antonio, Texas, where he worked alongside the NBA San Antonio Spurs physicians.
Dr. Perlman has always been active and enjoys participating in sports himself, as he was a swimmer and a collegiate wrestler throughout his childhood and during high school. He now continues to stay active by running, snowboarding, playing golf, playing basketball, and participating in many other sports. His hobbies include yoga, meditation, and spending time with his wife and child.

Every visit to Dr. Perlman‘s office has been an excellent experience. Everyone is friendly, considerate, courteous, professional. My dad is at the point where not much can be done for his neck pain and spinal stenosis. He has been to several doctors. Dr. Perlman‘s injections are the only thing that have helped. He at least has range of motion now. We are very grateful for that.
