Diana Mummert is a psychiatrist caring for patients in North Fort Worth and Keller, Texas. Dr. Mummert moved to North Texas from Romania upon completion of medical school to conduct research at UT Southwestern. She then completed her Residency in Psychiatry at John Peter Smith (JPS) Hospital. Dr. Mummert worked as a general psychiatrist in community and inpatient settings.
Dr. Mummert is skilled at treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including ADD and ADHD, anger issues, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, depression, mood disorders, OCD, personality disorders, sleep disorders, and medication management. She cares for both adults and adolescent patients.
Dr. Mummert knows that struggles with mental health can affect anyone and cause significant impairment to even the most common daily tasks. She strives to provide compassionate, comprehensive care with the goal of restoring her patients to the state of mind and level of functioning they desire. Dr. Mummert utilizes an integrative approach where she assesses her patient’s psychological, emotional, medical, and environmental contributors to problems and addresses these factors using both psychotherapy and medication management. Dr. Mummert has training and broad experience in psychopharmacology to treat psychological and emotional problems with medication.
When not treating patients, Dr. Mummert enjoys playing tennis, reading books, and traveling with her family.
