Through my years as a staff nurse, I found my passion for mental health and desired to be apart of the change in ending the stigma surrounded by substance abuse and mental health. As an emergency room nurse for over 10 years, I knew that I wanted to help to reduce the stigma and improve mental health care. Ann is the founder of Mentis Psychiatry. She has a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and an undergraduate degree from Drexel University. Ann is board certified and licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is nationally certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Ann has achieved certification from the Neuroscience Education Institute as a Master Psychopharmacologist and offers non-invasive testing for genetic markers in order to optimize pharmacologic treatment. Dr. Salvatore G. Savatta received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from New York University, graduated from New York University School of Medicine in 2001 and completed his M.S. in Biostatistics Clinical Research Methods at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health in 2005.
