Laura J. Sambrookes-McQuade, SLPD, CCC-SLP, (she/her) graduated with her Doctor of Speech Language Pathology degree from Northwestern University in March 2021 and founded APTIH in November 2021. Dr. Grosvenor completed her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois, and her doctorate in infant and early childhood development at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California. 

Dr. Grosvenor is also a credentialed DIRFloortime® provider. She has more than 10 years of experience teaching courses through the International Council on Development and Learning (ICDL), Profectum, and the Erikson Institute.

Jennifer (“Jenn”) is a pediatric bilingual (Spanish/English) speech-language pathologist at Express Yourself Therapy’s Kensington, MD location. She earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University with a bilingual extension certificate, and her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Applied Linguistics from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont.

Prior to joining EYT, Jenn worked as a speech-language pathologist at a nonpublic special education school serving neurodivergent students (K-8) with complex learning and communication profiles. In this role, she collaborated closely with special educators and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication across academic and social environments.

Anne has over 30 years of experience as a Pediatric Speech - Language Pathologist. Anne earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Speech Pathology at Marquette University.

Anne is trained in SOS feeding, food chaining, Arfid, and Get Permission approach feeding, oral motor, apraxia of speech, auditory processing, articulation and phonology, therapeutic listening, executive functioning, early intervention, social and pragmatic language, and is DIR certified. She enjoys working with infants and children of all ages and believes in building on each child's strengths and interests to improve their communication and feeding skills.

Jaclyn (Jackie) is a Speech-Language Pathologist who earned her Master’s degree at Midwestern University in Speech-Language Pathology. Jackie has been practicing as a speech-language pathologist at EYT since 2018. Some recent life changes have brought Jackie out of state, and she is now primarily seeing children via telehealth for the IL and MD branch.

Jackie believes in engaging children in play-based activities to foster overall language development. Jackie is certified in PROMPT Therapy,  DIRFloortime® Certified, and has training in Interactive Metronome. Jackie specializes in children with Apraxia of Speech, pragmatic language disorders, and a variety of expressive/receptive language disorders. Mandi has over ten years of experience working as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
