Compassionate, personalized care is a cornerstone of service at Nova Neuroscience, a premier neurosurgery practice in Vienna and Woodbridge, Virginia. Led by board-certified neurosurgeon Bülent Yapicilar, MD, the team delivers the highest level of neurosurgical care to patients through their individualized treatment plans and unparalleled expertise.
The brain is the most complex organ in the body. Suffering even the slightest damage or complication to the brain and spine can impact the functioning of the rest of the body or neurological processing system.
Brain tumors range in severity and seriousness. Dr. Yapicilar can perform advanced procedures and create precise treatment plans for patients diagnosed with brain tumors, such as meningiomas and glioblastomas, and ensure they receive the attentive follow-up care they need. At Nova Neuroscience, patients are also treated for conditions requiring vascular surgery, such as vascular malformations and brain aneurysms.
As a fellowship-trained physician in skull base and vascular neurosurgery, Dr. Yapicilar offers expertise in a highly specialized field. Skull base surgery demands exceptional skills as it uses surgery to diagnose and treat tumors on the underside of the brain, at the base of the skull, and in the upper part of the spine.
