Katherine Khalifeh, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon at Fairfax Colon & Rectal Surgery, PC.

Dr. Khalifeh was born and raised in Minnesota. She comes from a family of physicians and knew she wanted to follow in the footsteps of her father and grandfather by pursuing a career in surgery.

James J. Elist M.D, has been in private practice in Beverly Hills, California since 1982, specializing in urology, specifically in impotency, male sexual dysfunction, and infertility. Mehran Movassaghi, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship trained urologist treating patients in Santa Monica California. He has vast experience with endourology and men’s health. Dr. Movassaghi earned his medical degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, Geffen School of Medicine. Pankaj M. Jain, MD, MBA, is a board-certified urologist and one of Phoenix Magazine’s “Top Doctors” in Urology. He currently treats patients at Arizona Urology, which has three convenient locations in Goodyear, Glendale, and Gilbert, Arizona. 

Dr. Jain earned his medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. He graduated in the MD/MBA program, also earning a degree in health services management and finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He stayed at Northwestern University for his residency, which he completed in urology. 

At Arizona Urology, Dr. Jain specializes in oncology, female urology, stones, benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), and laparoscopy. He has performed over 1000 robotic procedures in his career.

Dr. Pandey was initially educated at Patna Medical College in Patna, India, where he earned a master of surgery in general surgery. He relocated to Scotland to study at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, where he earned his fellowship of the royal colleges of surgeons. He eventually relocated again to the United States, completing a residency in urology at the University of Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi.

Dr. Larsen graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois. Following graduation, Dr. Jalkut headed west and obtained his medical degree from Stanford University in Stanford, California. Dr. Jalkut subsequently completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in urology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Dr. Chang has advanced fellowship training in trauma and reconstructive urology from Washington University in St. Louis – Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Seasoned urologist, John V. Kaspar, MD, brings more than 25 years of experience in urology and urologic surgery to the Associated Urologists of North Carolina, practicing out of their Cary and Raleigh offices.

Dr. Kaspar was born and raised in the New York and New Jersey area. He began his professional education at Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology. After graduation, Dr. Kaspar enrolled at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and received a master’s in microbiology. He subsequently attended Wake Forest University Medical School of Medicine and earned his Doctor of Medicine. 

The next year, Dr. Kaspar completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in urology at Pennsylvania State University in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Following his residency, Dr. Kaspar entered private practice, serving at Wayne Urological Associates in Goldsboro, North Carolina, for 14 years, before joining the Associated Urologists of North Carolina in 2011. 

Dr. Kaspar practices general urology but specializes in female urology and incontinence. He was one of the first providers in North Carolina to offer InterStim therapy for overactive bladders and is also on the cutting-edge of other incontinence procedures. Additionally, Dr. Kaspar is one of only 125 urologists in the country with the subspecialty certification in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (FPMRS).

Dr. Kaspar also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Yousef Abu-Salha, MD, is one of the skilled urologists at Associated Urologists of North Carolina. He practices out of the offices in Dunn and Cary, North Carolina.

With Raleigh as his hometown and UNC as his alma mater, Dr. Abu-Salha is a true North Carolina native. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in biology and went on to graduate with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and Gold Humanism Honors Society (GHHS) distinctions from UNC School of Medicine. He then completed his urologic surgery training at UNC, which has greatly influenced his passion for minimally invasive surgery with robotic and laser approaches for the benign and malignant diseases of the prostate, bladder, and kidneys.
