Mikhail Kapchits, MD, is an accomplished cardiologist and a co-founder of Advanced Medical Care. Through his role at the practice, Dr. Kapchits assists patients from Brighton Beach (Brooklyn) and Forest Hills (Queens), New York.
Education has always shaped Dr. Kapchits’ life. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Moscow Medical Stomatological Institute in Russia and remained in his nation of birth to complete his first internship. He also completed internships in internal medicine at Municipal Hospital #50, known as Moscow Central Clinical Hospital, in Moscow, Russia, and at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York.

Jerome Dubroff, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist and internist with 25 years of experience at Brighton Beach Medical Group in New York City. Located in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, Dr. Dubroff is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to his patients, taking the time to answer questions and make patients feel at ease.
After earning his doctor of medicine degree from the State University of New York’s Downstate Medical Center in Wingate, Brooklyn, Dr. Dubroff completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Committed to advancing his education, Dr. Dubroff then completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania and a cardiac surgery fellowship in New York City at the Columbia University Medical Center in Morningside Heights, Manhattan. He then completed his second internal medicine residency at Washington DC VA Medical Center.

Ramzan M. Zakir, MD, RPVI, FACC, FSCAI, is an interventional vascular specialist at Cardiac & Vascular Interventions of New Jersey. He specializes in minimally invasive treatments for patients in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who suffer from vascular disease.
Dr. Zakir is recognized by the International Association of Top Professionals as the Top Interventional Cardiologist of the Year for 2021. He is currently the Director of High-Risk PCI and Research at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas University Hospital, practices at RWJPE Heart and Vascular Institute of Central Jersey, and is an invited speaker at regional and global conferences.
Since 2009, in his role as an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Zakir has performed thousands of successful angioplasty procedures. He has expanded his practice to peripheral vascular disease and has obtained his RPVI certificate for vascular ultrasound. The RWJPE Heart and Vascular Institute of Central Jersey is where he can assess the needs of his patients prior to performing complex coronary interventions, chronic total occlusions, carotid artery stenting, endovascular interventions for patients with peripheral arterial disease as well as venous ablations, sclerotherapy, and Varithena® procedures for venous insufficiency.
Early in his career, Dr. Zakir attended Rutgers College and completed both his internship and residency at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School, and served as chief medical resident at Hackensack University Hospital. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and endovascular. A clinical associate professor of medicine at Rutgers Medical School – Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, he is involved in research and fellow training. As a leader in interventional cardiology, he serves as principal investigator of several clinical trials to enhance the management of patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, and venous disease.
Dr. Zakir is an affiliate of several organizations, including the American College of Cardiology, a fellow of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Intervention, and a member of the Police Defense Foundation, as well as Health Forces for Police. An illustrious scholar, he is known for his distinguished contributions to prominent medical publications and he has been invited as faculty to numerous international conferences, including TCT, NCVH, and ACC. Dr. Zakir is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, and English.
Dr. Zakir’s hobbies include tennis, basketball, football, and watching the New York Jets, Knicks and Yankees. He cites raising his two sons and daughter as personal achievements. He dedicates this recognition to his father, Mirza, and to Saud Sadiq.
