Ali Hendi, MD, is a widely recognized skin cancer specialist who has been caring for patients in the Washington, DC area for over a decade. A double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Hendi opened a state-of-the-art surgical facility, dedicated to the treatment of skin cancers, in Chevy Chase, Maryland in 2008. Dr. Centurion’s career is firmly rooted in New Jersey, starting with his residency in dermatology, fellowship in dermatopathology, and training in Mohs surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he later rose to director of dermatologic surgery. One of the largest schools of health sciences of its kind, the University of Medicine and Dentistry is considered the leading research university in New Jersey.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Centurion has instructed countless medical fellows, residents, and students on skin cancer surgery. He has performed several thousand Mohs, dermatologic, and laser surgeries. His expertise is documented in numerous published scientific papers, as well as in his contributions to scores of dermatology textbooks.
Dr. Centurion’s professional links include membership in the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatopathology, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, Sigma Xi – The Scientific Research Society, and the Resident Editorial Advisory Board.
Dr. Eric Rudnick, MD, FAAD was born and raised in Boca Raton, FL. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and graduated Summa cum laude with a major in Health Science and a minor in Food Science & Nutrition. He attended medical school at the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Dr. Rudnick completed his intern year in Internal Medicine at Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University before attending the University of Florida for his residency in Dermatology where he served as chief resident. During this time, he completed his Dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Florida as well. He is excited to return to South Florida where he can provide the best dermatologic care in his hometown of Boca Raton.
Dr. Rudnick specializes in treating non-melanoma and melanoma skin cancers, atopic dermatitis (eczema), contact dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, alopecia (hair loss), warts, rosacea, autoimmune bullous diseases, autoimmune connective tissue disorders, and other acute and chronic skin disorders.
Dr. Rudnick is an avid sports fan (all things South Florida and Florida Gators of course) and enjoys various outdoor activities including skiing, wakeboarding, fishing, golfing and most importantly spending time with his family.
