Dr. Burk is a board-certified dermatologist with 40 years of experience diagnosing and treating both garden-variety and rare, complex dermatologic disorders.

A graduate of Duke University Medical School, Dr. Burk served for many years as Head of the Division of Dermatology at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where he continues to instruct residents and fellows as a volunteer teaching attending.

Dr. Burk was also an assistant professor and co-director of the Dermatology Training Program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Burk received postgraduate training at top-tier institutions, including Harvard Medical School, the University of Pittsburgh, and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where he conducted research on DNA repair mechanisms.

Laura Cohen, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at California Dermatology Physicians in Huntington Beach, California. Dr. Cohen takes a patient-centered approach to care and has built her practice on referrals from both patients and physicians.
