Theresa Durchhalter, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Allure Dermatology in Hicksville, New York. Tejas Desai, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon at Heights Dermatology. A native Houstonian, Dr. Desai completed his undergraduate education at the University of Houston, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in only three years. Finally, he completed his dermatology and surgical fellowship in southern California.

An author in his own right, Dr. Desai wrote a plethora of scholarly articles in leading dermatology journals. In addition, he authored three chapters in two major dermatology textbooks. An adjunct professor of Western University of Health Sciences located in Pomona, CA, Dr. Desai serves as an integral part of second-year medical students’ curriculum. Hannah Downing, MSPAS, PA-C, is Board-Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Dr. Mannschreck grew up in northwest Montana in the foothills of beautiful Glacier National Park. She was a National Merit Scholar and completed a full International Baccalaureate diploma during high school. Trissa Connors, M.D. serves patients at Elite Dermatology in Fulshear providing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care. She is passionate about working alongside her patients to develop individualized treatment plans based on their unique goals.

Dr. Connors was born in Portland, Oregon, but she spent her formative years on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Her father’s work as a botanist took the family all around the world, including a year spent living in Thailand while she was in high school.

After graduating from high school, Dr. Connors moved to the mainland where she completed her undergraduate work at the University of San Francisco. After graduating with honors, an opportunity arose for her to move to Texas for medical school. She got here as fast as she could and hasn’t looked back!

Dr. Connors attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where she graduated with High Honors and was elected a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. During her medical training she additionally completed a Masters in Public Health through The University of Texas School of Public Health where her focus was on the impact of the environment and environmental exposures on health. She is the author of numerous publications and has presented at several academic conferences.

Dr. Witt grew up in Longwood, Florida, and moved to New Orleans for her undergraduate studies at Tulane University. Lorissa Lorenzo, PA-C is a dermatology provider at North Pacific Dermatology and sees patients in McKinleyville and Fortuna, California.

After finishing her internship, Dr. Dunn returned to Houston to complete her training in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine, where she was selected to serve as the chief resident during her final year. During her training, she published numerous peer-reviewed articles. She was awarded the Sam Weinberg Case of the Year at the Society of Pediatric Dermatology’s PreAAD Meeting in 2021 as well as was awarded “The Coolest Thing We Learned” Dermie Award by the Dermasphere Podcast in 2022 for her article entitled “Dermatologic manifestations in spaceflight: a review.” Dr. Dunn continues to stay active with the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatological Society, and Houston Dermatological Society, and stays up to date on the most advanced medical treatments.

Dr. Dunn is kind, compassionate, listens well, and is understanding. Dr. Dunn says her favorite aspect of her career is the opportunity to talk with patients about the health of their skin and how their general health affects skin health. She provides patients with well-rounded and personalized care, treating each patient as though they were members of her own family.

In her off time, Dr. Dunn enjoys traveling to destinations such as Turkey, Italy, Indonesia, and Australia. She also enjoys playing tennis with friends and reading historical fiction and mysteries.

Jesse Vos, PA-C is a skilled provider at North Pacific Dermatology in Crescent City, California. 

Jesse graduated from the University of California, Irvine. He then went on to earn his master’s at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Practicing medicine as a physician assistant since 2008, Jesse’s initial training and certification were in family medicine. He had the opportunity to see a variety of conditions and cases that reinforced his expertise. 

Seeing several skin conditions throughout his time as a family medicine provider, Jesse went on to obtain additional training in dermatology. He then earned his NCCPA certification in dermatology. It was here that he found his true passion, and he has been practicing dermatology since 2015. He genuinely enjoys dermatologic practice and takes pride in what he does. 

When not in the office, Jesse loves rafting, paddling, surfing, rock climbing, hiking, and any adventure that takes him outside with his family.
