Dr. Egesi is the owner of Humble Dermatology and was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston with a BSc. in Biology and was inducted into the Golden Key Honor Society. She earned a chance at the internationally recognized Baylor College of Medicine for her medical education where she also graduated top of her class. She completed her internship and residency in dermatology at the University of Cincinnati and served as chief resident and became a board-certified dermatologist. Living in Ohio afforded her the pleasure of the breathtaking beauty of the four seasons in their climate and how to survive the winter among other things. She moved back home after her residency to Humble, Texas to become the first dermatologist to practice in the area. Dr. Egesi also received her MBA from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She is an expert in all aspects of dermatology including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with special interest and highly skilled in the treatment alopecia (hair loss) and complex dermatological cases. Henry Heaton, MD, FAAD, FACMS is an experienced Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and cutaneous oncologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. Dr. Heaton has treated thousands of skin cancers and has completed the most advanced training in this unique surgical procedure. Mohs micrographic surgery is widely accepted as the most effective treatment for most types of skin cancer.

After finishing a residency in Dermatology at Yale and serving as Chief Resident, Dr. Heaton was selected for the highest level of training in Mohs Surgery, an American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology. During this fellowship, Dr. Heaton trained under the direction of a world-renowned cutaneous oncologist and reconstructive surgeon. Dr. Curtis then completed a challenging three-year residency in dermatology at one of the most prestigious dermatology programs in the country, the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) in Dallas, Texas. While in residency, she completed research on using photodynamic therapy combined with topical chemotherapy for the treatment of actinic keratosis and sun damage. At UTSW, she trained with many of the world’s most renowned dermatologists considered to be pioneers in their respective fields.

Outside of work, Dr. Curtis enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading. She doubles as a master chef and gardener and is a mother to four children. 

 

Kavita Surti, MD, is a lead physician and cosmetic specialist at Rancho Wellness Aesthetic, a state-of-the-art cosmetic medicine practice located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. With nearly 15 years in the medical field, Dr. Surti is passionate about using her expertise and experience to help patients in the San Bernardino area look and feel their absolute best.

Christ-Ann Magloire, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN at Serenity Holistic OB/GYN, Research Center & Wellness Spa in North Miami Beach, Florida. 

Dr. Magloire graduated with a Bachelor of Science in community health education from Temple University in Philadelphia. She earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Boston Medical Center and Boston University in Boston. She settled in Miami as part of her service commitment to the National Health Services scholarship.

Dr. Magloire has always excelled in her field, earning the National Institute of Health intramural research award to explore breastfeeding rates among African-American women, the Medical Students for Choice’s Alumni Award, and the Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Young Scholars Award, which she won twice.

Dr. Magloire is also a strong leader. She was a two-term member of Medical Students for Choice’s board of directors, the vice president of the Miami-Dade chapter of the National Medical Association, the first female board-certified Haitian-American to practice in North Miami, and the only obstetrician member of the fetal and infant mortality review board for Miami-Dade County. Dr. Magloire is active in the field of women’s reproductive health issues. She worked with the midwifery community since 2004 and was the physician champion for breastfeeding promotion at Jackson North Medical Center in North Miami Beach. Susan Pearose is a certified Physician Assistant and diplomate fellow in dermatology. She is originally from Orange County, California where she attended the University of California, Irvine for her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. Susan later attended Keck School of Medicine of USC and completed her master’s degree in their Physician Assistant program. While attending USC, she volunteered as an educator at The Lamp Community of Skid Row in Downtown, Los Angeles. She, then furthered her education by completing her dermatology fellowship from the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
