Dr. Shah was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was a National Merit Scholar, testing in the top one-half of one percent of all students in the United States. Dr. Shah attended Northwestern University for college as well as Medical School and was a member of the Honors Program in Medical Education. He completed an internship in General Surgery, and then a residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) at Wayne State University in Detroit. Dr. Shah was then one of 38 individuals selected for advanced Fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Shah is Board-Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American Board of Head and Neck Surgery and Otolaryngology (ENT). After completing his fellowship in 2009, he was appointed a member of the faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Dr. Manoj Kantu is a board-certified otolaryngologist trained in all aspects of adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat disorders. Katherine Nickley, MD,  is an otolaryngologist practicing at Massachusetts Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, which has locations in Chelmsford and Woburn, Massachusetts, and Nashua and Derry, New Hampshire. She sees patients at the practice’s Chelmsford and Nashua locations.  

Dr. Nickley grew up in the Boston area and graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry and a minor in Spanish. She obtained her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Nickley completed her residency in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Jeff Kopelman, MD, FACS is a Board Certified physician and surgeon who specializes in health conditions that affect the ears, nose, and throat. Dr. Kopelman serves residents who live in and around the metropolitan New York area and many of the surrounding communities from his office located in Rockville Centre, NY. He sees patients of all ages and is capable of performing a wide variety of procedures, including balloon and endoscopic sinus surgeries for sinus infections. Raja Sawhney MD MFA FACS, is a fellowship trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He is dual board certified in both Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Sawhney obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (BFA) in Scientific Illustration and Painting and Drawing and then pursued his Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) in Medical and Biological Illustration both from the University of Michigan. After working as a medical artist, he returned to school to get his medical degree (MD) at Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan. He then completed his residency training in Otolaryngology (ENT) at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit Michigan. He obtained specialized training in Facial Plastic Surgery, in Dallas / Fort Worth under the guidance of Dr. Yadro Ducic MD FRCS(C), FACS.

After completing his training, Dr. Sawhney worked as an Associate Professor in Otolaryngology at the University of Florida, where he was the Director of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery. He started the microvascular surgical program in the department and co-directed the Head and Neck microvascular fellowship along with Dr. Peter Dziegielewski, MD FRCS.

Dr. Sawhney has always enjoyed teaching. Beyond helping to train residents and fellows at the University of Florida, where he continues to be adjunct faculty, he is also teaching faculty for the AOCMF, an International Organization dedicated to training surgeons in trauma care. Dr. Sawhney has taught numerous international courses in facial trauma, including reconstruction of the orbit and soft tissue of the face as well as reconstruction after ballistic injuries. He has 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals and multiple text book chapters. He is also an expert when it comes to reconstruction after facial nerve paralysis, Mohs surgical excision and nasal deformity and breathing. 

Charles Greene, MD, PhD, is a board-certified otolaryngology-head and neck surgeon at Jacksonville ENT Surgery, with three locations in Jacksonville, Florida.

Reared in the rough inner-city area of Compton, California, Dr. Greene overcame many early challenges in life. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), where he received numerous awards, was involved in student government, and held positions in local and national health care organizations. 

At UCI, Dr. Greene performed research in behavioral neuropharmacology under the direction of Dr. James L. McGaugh. Dr. Greene simultaneously performed research with H.W. Moore, chairman of the Department of Chemistry at UCI. Under the direction of these great men, Dr. Greene developed an interest in becoming a physician-scientist.

He enrolled in the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and was admitted into the very competitive Medical Scientist Training Program, where he worked, simultaneously, on his MD and PhD degrees in physiology and biophysics with an emphasis in neurophysiology. Dr. Greene excelled at the University of Washington and received numerous awards, including the Outstanding and Meritorious Service and Achievement in Academic Excellence. 

At the University of Washington, Dr. Greene performed his dissertation under Dr. Wayne E. Crill, one of the preeminent neuroscientists in the country. Dr. Greene's brain research examined the effects of activating a new class of brain receptors and was published in the Journal of Neurophysiology and in the European Journal of Pharmacology.

After graduating, Dr. Greene received his residency training in general surgery and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Michigan. While there, his research led to the discovery of a novel hearing loss gene (locus), DFNA-25, and that work is published in the 2001 edition of the American Journal of Human Genetics.

Dr. Greene's combination of scientific thinking, commitment to the community, and training under the guidance of world-renowned mentors has helped him develop into an outstanding clinician. R. James Koch, MD, is a Stanford-trained, Fellowship-trained, Double Board-Certified facial surgeon with over 25 years of experience. He is the founder of Koch Facial Plastic Surgery, located in San Mateo, California. 

Dr. Koch completed his specialty training with a fellowship in Advanced Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at Stanford University, where his achievements earned him an appointment to the full-time faculty.
