Kendra Breithaupt is a native North Texan, but grew up all over the United States, moving with her parents, twin brother and younger sister to their assigned Air Force bases. She received her Bachelors of Science in nursing from Georgia Southern University and attended Baylor University for her Masters in Nursing with a focus as a family nurse practitioner.

He has served as a Lt. Commander in the US Public Health Service Corps and worked with the Indian Health Service in Alaska serving the Inuit population. Dr. Cauthen worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) where he was responsible for disease surveillance and outbreak investigations at the national and state level. He was stationed for two years in Puerto Rico, and worked closely with the Puerto Rico Secretary of Health on numerous health policy issues. As State Epidemiologist for Oklahoma, Dr. Cauthen contributed to the development of bioterrorism response within the state and helped develop partnerships for an early warning disease surveillance system in the state. He now serves as medical director and continues his research.

Umar Burney MD, MBA is the founding and managing partner at Orthopaedic Specialists of Dallas. He is dual board-certified in general orthopaedics and sports medicine surgery.
Dr. Burney was born in Madison, Wisconsin. His parents were both in the teaching profession and taught the importance of learning and education. Living abroad during high school, he had the unique opportunity to graduate with a secondary education certification from the University of Cambridge in England.
He returned to the University of Wisconsin in Madison to complete his undergraduate degree in medical microbiology and immunology with a special interest in communicative diseases of the third world.
Dr. Burney attended Saint George's University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, and joined the Iota Epsilon Alpha International Medical Honors Society his sophomore year. He then completed his internship and orthopaedic surgical residency at Louisiana State University Shreveport, where he received several awards for excellence in basic science research and anatomy.
After graduating from LSU, Dr. Burney completed a sports medicine and joint replacement fellowship under the tutelage of Dr. Leland Winston and Dr. Thomas Clanton at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Burney has served on numerous committees throughout his career. His current roles include Joint Replacement Director and Vice Chair of the Board of Managers at Texas Health Surgery Center of Rockwall. His primary focus is sports medicine and joint replacement.
